Comments: Hello, I have a 2006 DVX400 that recently jumped time on me. I saw a tech tell someone else to time their dvx so that the lobes on both of the cam shafts were facing upward, which does not seem too plausible to me. I saw another that says to position the lobes so that they are at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock, which sounds more plausible. If anyone can tell me exactly how it should be set it would be greatly appreciated and it would save me much time and aggravation. I am also going to be selling my DVX in the very near future so I would like to tune up the timing. I will be trying these two methods in the mean time so perhaps one will work. Input is still appreciated. Thank you all.

Comments: I just put paddle tires on my 04 DVX 400, its all stock, all I've done is take the spark protector out from the end of the pipe. Running the dunes, it starts to cut out, and at the top it dies. Top end power is gone it feels. Ive been told to re jet down by two sizes, then told to re jet up by two sizes?? if I also want to take the Air cover lid off, then do I go up by two? Thanks!

Comments: After looking at some of the posts, it seems like i got an amazing deal. I picked up a 2004 DVX400 with a yoshimura exhaust and pro taper bars for $1,350 from the original owner. It is in great shape and has brand new rear tires. To add onto that it came with all paper work, extra set of rear wheels, stock exhaust, stock handle bars, and a helmet. All it needs is new front tires and a battery. For 1,500 in total it will be all set.
